Morgyn and Reno’s engagement session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve was nothing short of a Texas summer dream — even with the blazing heat pushing temperatures over 100 degrees! Despite the sweltering weather, these two powered through with the sweetest smiles and hearts full of excitement for this special season of their lives.

From the very first moment we met, I could feel just how much love and joy radiated between them. Morgyn and Reno are the kind of couple that makes everything feel easy — endearing, down-to-earth, and simply in love. Their laid-back, country style perfectly matched the setting they envisioned for their engagement session: wide open fields, golden sunlight, cowboy hats, and boots. With Arbor Hills nearly empty thanks to the heat, it felt like we had the entire preserve to ourselves — creating such an intimate atmosphere to document their love story.

High School Sweethearts Turned Lifelong Partners

What made this session even more special is the journey that brought them here. Morgyn and Reno met in high school — a freshman and sophomore with the sweetest crushes on one another. From day one, their friendship grew into something truly beautiful, becoming best friends and inseparable partners. After eight years together, their connection is stronger than ever. Watching Reno’s face light up every time he looked at Morgyn was one of my favorite parts of the session. It’s proof that even after all these years, that just-engaged feeling still flows between them.

A Surprise Proposal to Remember

Their proposal story is just as heartfelt. On December 22, 2023, Reno completely surprised Morgyn by popping the question after photos with his family. He played it cool all day, keeping her totally unsuspecting. Little did she know, her own family was secretly watching from a distance, waiting to celebrate the moment alongside them. It was the sweetest surprise that made an already beautiful day even more unforgettable.

Even though they had never had professional photos taken before, you would never have guessed! Morgyn told me afterward that she loved how I guided them every step of the way — and that my website was absolutely right when it said I’m a professional hype girl! Hearing that made my heart so happy because nothing brings me more joy than helping couples feel confident, comfortable, and celebrated during their sessions.
